Ghost Adventures - Prospect Place

I hope you had a great holiday season. There is an all-new episode of Ghost Adventures this Friday to help you bring in the new year. The boys are investigating Prospect Place mansion, a location known for it's dramatic history.

Now the that holidays are winding down we can get back to regular life. I hope you have a good new year! As always, feel free to share this info with friends, readers, or other fans of the show.

Episode info:

In Trinway, Ohio, there is a place so saturated with dark history, it is no wonder that the fight between good and evil is still continuing from when it started in 1856. Prospect Place Mansion is said to be infested with paranormal activity. It was a major stop for runaway slaves in the underground railroad, many of whom are said to have died in the basement. The owner, Georde Adams, was a pillar of the community. His wealth and influence afforded him the ability to help slaves escape to freedom. He was willing to do anything to protect the slaves traveling through the underground railroad.

There are many sad stories about the mansion. It is said that a little girl once fell from the balcony. It was in the dead of winter and the family had to wait until spring before they could properly bury her. They kept her body in the cold storage in the basement and during this time the girl's mother came to visit her every day.

Ghost Adventures - Execution Rocks

This Friday Zak, Nick, and Aaron will be visiting an island that few paranormal investigators have ever step foot upon. Execution Rocks has been home to executions, murder, and accidental death. In order to tackle an island with this much history the guys are pulling out the stops and using all sorts of equipment.

The holidays are are here so I hope you get an opportunity to relax and spend time with your friends and family. As always, feel free to share this info with friends, readers, or other fans of the show!

Episode info:

Execution Rocks is given its name because British soldiers used the rocks around the island to carry out executions. They would chain the prisoners up at low tide and wait for the water to slowly rise until the prisoners were drowned. The prisoners were in the water for up to twelve hours before the water rose high enough for them to drown.

It is standard for a lighthouse keeper to commit to living in a lighthouse for a year. However, lighthouse keepers at Execution Rocks were allowed to cancel their contracts and leave at any point. Many keepers were frightened by strange phenomena and choose to leave early.

One of Americas most notorious serial killers, Carl Panzram, was a big fan of the lighthouse. Carl Panzram once stated, "I have murdered 21 human beings. I have committed sodomy on at least 1000 male human beings. For all of these things, I am not in the least bit sorry." The lighthouse was his chosen place to dump the dead bodies of his victims.

With all of the dark history surrounding the island, is it a wonder that few paranormal investigators have payed visit to the lighthouse.

This week on Ghost Adventures

Hi Lesley,

This Friday, the guys are heading to the rough neighborhoods of east LA to investigate the Linda Vista Hospital. There was so much gang violence in the 1990's that Linda Vista had a surprisingly high death toll.

You will get to see Nick more afraid than you have ever seen him on an episode of Ghost Adventures (though I won't spoil the fun and tell you why).

I've included some advance info about the episode and a link to a video clip below. Feel free to share this info with friends, readers, or other fans of the show! Have a great evening!

Episode info:

Hospitals are for the sick and dying. For many, Linda Vista was their last stop before heading to the morgue. Linda Vista, located in the heart of east LA, is said to be one of the most haunted locations in Los Angeles. When you consider the rough neighborhood surrounding the hospital, it is no surprise that the hospital had a high death toll.

Before the investigation, Zak visits the incineration room, where the bodies of the dead were burned. While examining the room he comes across what looks like a bone fragment or a tooth from one of the hospital's patients.

Most the hospital looks the same way it did when it was closed down because it was abandoned so quickly after being shut down. The guys believe that when a place is left so quickly, and looks so similar to the way it did when people died, they location is more likely to be haunted

The guys do not leave disappointed. They capture voices in the middle of the day, and later in the investigation Nick gets one of the worst scares in his life!

Ghost Cases travels to the UK

In the upcoming episode of Ghost Cases, Paul and Holly travel to the UK and investigate paranormal activity at the Lion and Swan hotel. Aside from the paranormal, they made me remember how small most UK hotel rooms are. :)

Within the hotel witnesses have seen ghosts, most especially a man and a dog. Yes, a ghost hound!!! Although, really the ghosts are kind of besides the point because the real paranormal focus is a cursed painting of a rather pretty and scantly clad woman.

I didn't quite get why the painting was cursed, but the legend is that is that if the painting is moved someone will die. So what did Paul Kimball do? Come on, you can guess. If you guessed that he moved it and touched it, you are correct!

Actually, I think Paul has removed my writers block and given me something to write about for Grey Matters next week and the theme will be - why we should respect the paranormal. Heck, I don't believe in every paranormal thing, but that doesn't seem to matter. I think as long as there are people that believe in it you are tempting fate to totally disregard it. Maybe it just has to do with consciousness, more so than spirits, demons or curses, but people do need to respect what we refer to as the paranormal.

So by that you probably know that someone did die. You can scoff and write it off as coincidence if you wish, but given the small amount of people that were probably involved in the investigation I would bet that the odds of something like that happening aren't that great.

So anyway, if you are in Canada, I am pretty sure you won't want to miss this episode of Ghost Cases. Ghost Cases airs of Eastlink TV (I believe this episode airs on Dec 6th) and you can find out more about it here.

Happy Hunting!

This week on Ghost Adventures

Hi Lesley,

This Friday, the guys are heading back to the Old Washoe Club and the Chollar Mine in Virginia City Nevada. Five years ago, in the ballroom of the Washoe Club, Zak, the guys caught their very first video evidence of a ghost.

They are returning because recently several investigators have caught voices at the Washoe Club calling out Zak and Nick by name, and the voices don't have nice things to say.

I've included some advance info about the episode and a link to a video clip below. Feel free to share this info with friends, readers, or other fans of the show! Have a great day!

Episode info:

The guys head back to where it all began at the Washoe Club in Virginia City Nevada. They are re-visiting the location where they got their first documented video evidence of a ghost. The reason for their return is that several investigators have recently caught voices inside the Washoe Club calling out Zak and Nick by name.

The voices don't have nice things to say. Fellow investigators Mark and Debbie Constantino show the guys some EVP's saying, "Nick Groff," "Hate Nick," and "Zak look out." It appears the these spirits have unfinished business with Zak, Nick, and Aaron.

The guys will also be locked down in a location they did not visit during their previous investigation: The Chollar Mine. It is said that there are spirits of miners still stuck inside the mine. Countless men have died inside the mine thanks to fires, falls, electrocution. Once locked down, the guys hear the sounds of people working inside the mine.
