Ghost Adventures - Kell's Irish Pub

Episode Description:
In Seattle in the early 1900s death was a good business. Mining accidents, disease, and murder made it very profitable to run a morgue. E.R. Butterworth opened Seattle's first morgue in the midst of an outbreak of a deadly disease. At the time, there were so many deaths the City of Seattle payed citizens for each body that was brought to the morgue. Since the payment was about half a year's salary for many, it became an incentive for murder.

Today, Kell's Irish Pub occupies what used to be the morgue. The unrested souls that passed through the walls continue to have an effect on the building today. Figures walk the halls, glasses move on their own, and voices echo throughout the building.

Every year there seems to be a build-up of paranormal activity as we move closer to the anniversary of Seattle's spanish influenza outbreak in 1918. Due to the number of deaths it was mandatory for everyone to wear surgical masks in public. Thousands of bodies passed through the mortuary as a result of disease, accidents, and foul play, but E.R. Butterworth didn't care if the bodies were there as a result of murder. Zak, Nick, and Aaron believe the souls of those who died for unjust reasons remain trapped in Kell's Irish Pub.

Ghost Adventures - Fort Chaffee

Episode Description:
Fort Chaffee is located in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The giant military complex has been home to German POWs, Cuban refugees, and has seen hundreds of deaths during it's long history. For 40 years, soldiers trained for combat within the fort's boundaries. However nobody could have been prepared for the huge influx of Cuban refugees.

Cuba opened its doors for their un-wanted citizens to leave in the 1980s. Thousands of mental patients and criminals from Cuba became permanent residents of Fort Chaffee. There were constant fights and stabbings on the grounds of what became a prison for refugees. The prisoners even threw a full scale riot in response to the conditions at the camp.

The huge complex has been home to a few famous and infamous individuals. Both John Lennon's murderer, and Elvis Presley once called this place home. With over 30,000 acres and a lot of history at the complex, the guys definitely have their work cut out for them.

Ghost Adventures - USS Hornet

Episode Description:

The USS Hornet is called a floating coffin. It was one of the most decorated aircraft carriers in World War II , and it saw numerous battles. The USS Hornet and her crew were responsible for taking down over 1,000 aircraft and sinking 76 ships. War was an awful place, and the Hornet had the unfortunate honor of the highest suicide rate of any ship in the Navy.

Although the ship is now resting peacefully in San Francisco, many people believe the spirits of the crew are still fighting the war. The sick bay is home to countless claims of paranormal happenings. One visitor plays an EVP of someone screaming, "GET OUT!"

Between the pain of war, the cramped quarters, and the length of time these men spent at sea, there is plenty reason for their spirits and energy to linger on the ship. One of the best examples of evidence the boys catch is the voice of a man yelling, "RUN," like he was under attack on the ship.

Ghost Adventures - Vulture Mine

Episode Description:

The Vulture Mine in Arizona sits in complete isolation 70 miles from Phoenix. The gold discovered there was responsible for much of Arizona's development. The mine was discovered in 1863, and by the 1880s there were more than 5,000 residents drawn to the town by opportunity and greed.

Corruption was rampant in the town. If you showed any threat to the mine or the gold stores you would be hung without a trial. Many people were buried where they died without ever having a marked grave. The U.S. government sent in troops to protect the town, but even the soldiers were greedy and corrupt.

Unfortunately, it seems the spirits at Vulture Mine wanted Zak, Nick, and Aaron gone before they could arrive. A huge storm hit Arizona before the lockdown could begin forcing the guys to head back to town and wait the storm out. However, the setback did nothing but fuel the GA crew's desire to find out what lurks in the old mining town.

Ghost Adventures - Stanley Hotel

Stanley Hotel
This investigation brings Zak, Nick, and Aaron to Estes Park, Colorado to investigate one of the most famously haunted hotels in the United States. The hotel has inspired dozens of notable guests to visit the small town at the foot of Rocky Mountain National Park. Stephen King was inspired to write his famous novel, The Shining, after experiencing some paranormal events during a stay at the hotel.

The Stanley Hotel is built upon a giant bed of quartz and limestone, which are said to be good conductors of paranormal energy. There is also a lake you must drive over on the way into town. Paranormal believers think these things help to trap the spiritual energy in Estes Park. The guys chose to stay at some of the most famously haunted rooms in the building.

Zak has personally dedicated this episode to paranormal skeptics, in honor of scientist and skeptic Bill Chapel, who joined the team toward the latter part of the investigation. Bill used a specially designed thermal and electromagnetic device to track where the changes in these levels around the room. Between Zak's investigating and the results documented simultaneously by Bill, you will be very impressed by the evidence they capture!

Ghost Adventures - Return to Bobby Mackey's

Episode Description:

Return to Bobby Mackey's
There is one place that you might hear Zak Bagans say he is afraid to investigate. Demonic possessions and physical attacks are run-of-the mill at Bobby Mackey's Music World. The building, which now hosts a country music bar, has been home to a slaughterhouse and is the site of a well-publicized satanic murder. In 2008, Zak, Nick, and Aaron spent a night investigating the building, not knowing it would change their lives forever.

Bobby Mackey's is the only location the guys have visited where they feel spirits have followed them home. After the first investigation, Nick was startled awake by banging pots and pans. Thinking his house was broken into, he ran downstairs to find his kitchen faucet turned on and nobody around. Aaron even admits that investigating Bobby Mackey's played a factor in ruining his marriage.

You won't believe the evidence and occurrences that happen during this investigation. The spirits call the Ghost Adventures guys and their guests by name. They use their past and emotions to play games, and they even mimic friends to get to the guys. What lies ahead is one of the toughest investigations Ghost Adventures fans will ever witness.

Ghost Adventures - Rolling Hills Asylum This Friday!

In Bethany, NY there is a place where the homeless, drunkards, and criminally insane were sent. The building known as the Rolling Hills Asylum, built in 1827, became a stew pot of tragic cases of abuse and mistreatment. The building also served as a poor house, where mothers and children who could not support themselves were housed under the same roof as pedophiles and mental health sufferers. There have been over 1,200 documented deaths in the asylum, but those are just the deaths that have been accounted for.

One of these cases involved a patient named Roy who suffered from giantism. Roy's father was a prominent banker, and he dropped his son off at the Rolling Hills Asylum when he was just twelve years old. Roy spent 50 years living in the asylum and eventually died there. In the years since, there have been numerous claims from visitors to the asylum that they saw a hulking seven foot tall figure walking the halls.

On top of the tragic abuse and dark history surrounding the asylum, there is a notoriously evil nurse. Nurse Emmy is infamous for her mistreatment of the patients in Rolling Hills. However, she is also said to have practiced dark magic inside the building. She was a member of an occult group that still exists today. When you group her story in with the rest of the dark events in this building's past, you can be sure that Zak, Nick, and Aaron are in for a night they won't soon forget.

Ghost Adventures - Gettysburg This Friday!

Episode Description:
Gettysburg
They say that you can see the soldiers continuing to wage civil war on the historic battlefields of Gettysburg, PA. Over 150,00 Americans fought here in one of the largest battles in US history. This is why the Ghost Adventures team will be investigating Gettysburg on the anniversary of the historic battle.

There are so many haunted buildings in Gettyburg that Zak, Nick, and Aaron will be doing a three part lockdown. The first part takes place at the Soldiers National Museum, a museum and historic orphanage where children were beaten and abused. It was a surprising to hear that such a horrifying place is stuck righto the middle of a place known for violence and carnage. Rosa Carmichael, the owner of the orphanage, was known to hate children and punished them by chaining them to the wall and putting them in confinement.

The second part of the lockdown is at the Jennie Wade house. Jennie was hiding at her sister's house during the battle. Once the fighting had died down she thought it would be okay to make food for the family. She was killed in the kitchen by a bullet from a confederate soldier that had missed it's target. She was the only civilian to have died during the battle.

The third part of the Gettysburg lockdown is at the Engine House where the first battle of Gettysburg took place. The engine house is not as old, but the ground it is built upon truly tingles your spine. It is said that as the train tracks were laid workers were digging up human skulls.

Ghost Adventures - Clovis Wolfe Manor

This Friday, the boys will be investigating one of the most active paranormal locations they have ever visited: Wolfe Manor in Clovis, California. They will be using some amazing new equipment that allows us to see a much wider spectrum of light. You won't believe what you see!

Thank you for all of your support and help during this run of new episodes! As always, feel free to share this info with friends, readers, or other fans of the show.

Episode info:

In it's 70 years of operation Wolfe Manor became the final resting place for thousands of people. The originals owners lost the home in the great depression. After sitting vacant for years, Wolfe Manor was turned into the Clovis Sanitarium. Former employees tell numerous stories about poor conditions, mistreatment, and abuse of patients.

Wolfe Manor housed 100-150 patients at a time until it was closed in 1997. Overcrowding was a constant problem, making it difficult for any patient to receive proper care. The rooms were so overcrowded that some patients slept in the hallways. With so many patients and a shortage of staff, there were a lot of deaths inside the mansion. Since there was no local coroner to come for the deceased the bodies had to be stored in the basement. They were sometimes there for days at a time.

The spirits are Wolfe Manor are very "hands on." While researching some of the history behind the mansion Zak asks paranormal investigator Terry Campbell if he has ever been physically touched. "All the time. That is the most frequent thing that happens here," Terry responds.

The guys hear voices and feel strange energy even before the lockdown begins. Wolfe Manor is sure to be a hair-raising investigation.
